Copy Shop Panic

Thirty days of June. One copy shop. €8,000 of debt.

Short description · ES

Short description · EN

Your uncle Paco left you his copy shop and €8,000 of debt. You have the thirty days of June to pay it off. Work the queue, set the machine exactly the way each order asks, and hold on until closing time. One more run and you'll make it.

Long description · ES

Long description · EN

Copy Shop Panic is a management game against the clock. You inherit Copistería Paco, a photocopier that jams, and €8,000 of debt due at the end of June. You have thirty days to pay it off.

Each day is a run of a few minutes. You raise the shutter and the queue starts filling up: students with lecture notes, lecturers with enormous jobs, people in a hurry who tip three times as much, companies ordering hundreds of copies in one go. Every customer brings an order with its own spec — copies, sides, colour, size and finish — and your job is to set the machine exactly the way they asked before you hit copy. If anything is off, the job comes out wrong and nobody pays.

While you work, the shop falls apart around you. Toner and paper run down. The PACO-3000 jams and needs three thumps on the lid. Some days in June the power trips and you flip the fuses in the dark. And the queue's patience waits for nobody.

At closing comes the summary: what you got done, the tips, the rent, and the customers who left empty-handed. Then you split the till between the bank and the shop, where the upgrades wait: an automatic binder, a feeder, a guillotine, and the one that changes everything — a second photocopier to run two orders in parallel.

  • Thirty days of a few minutes each. It plays in short bursts.
  • Something new almost every day: double-sided, finishes, corporate orders, toner.
  • Upgrades that change how you play, not just the numbers.
  • Marta and her thesis, chapter by chapter, right to the end.
  • Spanish and English, offline, no microtransactions.

Pay the debt before June is out and lower the shutter owing nobody a euro. And if that leaves you wanting more, there is always the summer.
